Hard to match the performance of a WebSDR ![]()
Just now, I was able to catch Voice of Korea using my old Phillips radio for a few minutes before the signal faded away.
Here’s the recording
Probably the 1190Khz broadcast in Korean from Kujang targeting South Africa
I am unable to upload attachments directly because of being a “new user” ![]()
I’m very sorry. This forum software has a lot of default settings to prevent spam. I’ve changed the setting, you should be able to upload now.
And your link isn’t working for me right now.
No worries, here’s the recording
The upload feature is working for me now.
Thanks for sharing. Sounds very clear. I wonder why they are broadcasting in Korean to South Africa.
Yeah what purpose could it serve ![]()
Caught it again lol
This time @11635khz Target: Far East
Which radio and antenna are you using?
I’m not using any elaborate set-up, just an old analog Philips radio, no external antenna either.
I’m sure being able to catch VOK this easily has to do with my geographical proximity to east asia and also being in a low noise rural environment.
totally awesome very crystal clear
