I’m also back to the hobby after 40 years away…
Since the beginning of this year I’ve set up my CB/Freeband, Ham Radio and SWL Station … I live in a relatively good position for radio…

Still a work in progress… Just waiting for some parts to install a new Mini-Whip receiving antenna for the SDR and a 11/10 Meters dipole for my 10 to 12 meter transceiver…
Slowly I’m improving my station with the scarce means I have…
I’m also trying to allow my SDR to be accessed on the Internet but my Mobile Broadband provider is complicating things to allow an open door on their system in order for my SDR server to be accessible via WAN to everybody… Like always the Internet providers make it hard just to try to extort more money on “business connection” but I don’t give up on my rights as a customer. I just hope I get lucky and force them to comply with my demands.

Good luck with that my friend! The Internet providers tend to be bullies in my experience.
