Hello guys! Some of you probably know about this project, or at least know what a number station is.
So, Priyom.org is kind of like Archive.org, but for number stations. Every day, the community is on the hunt for those signals that have remained on shortwave frequencies since the Cold War and beyond.
Number stations transmit sequences of numbers in a human voice to diplomats and spies around the world, who decode them using the correct one-time pad.
It’s an amazing world and a fascinating hobby to get into if you’re interested in listening to them.
