Ham radio youtubers and other radio experts think it is coming from the CIA for the resistance in Iran, but some news channels are reporting that it is coming from the Iranian government. If this remains a mystery, it will be a great story in the future. Probably there will be many conspiracy theories as well.

I’ve seen on the Internet that a few Ham Operators and SWL enthusiasts had located in an American military base in Germany… Of coarse I can’t confirm it myself but it can be possible since it’s already known that a few Mossad and American agents are living in Iran for quite some time…
All the “sleeper cells” paranoia is exactly that conspiranoid nonsense…

How can it be an Iranian station while it was located in Germany by ham radios ? I think it’s more probably a CIA number station sending informations to agents in Iran.

i’m pretty sure it was an cia backed station. first, it was broadcasting from an u.s. military base within germany, second, it became active the second internet went down in iran. once the country came back online again, the station vanished. haven’t heard it in weeks. my best guess is, that it was a failsafe way to reach assets hidden deep within iran and it points out how relevant suchs “outdated” infrastructure like shortwave radio still can be.
